The Pipebots project is a UK government-funded research and development initiative that uses tiny robots to help maintain underground pipes.

The project is a collaboration between the University of Sheffield, the University of Birmingham, the University of Bristol, and the University of Leeds. It also involves mechanical engineering experts, civil engineering experts, automatic control and systems experts, and researchers from the Faculty of Engineering.
