Roborock’s vacuum cleaner, the competitor of Roomba has now got an upper hand by adding a foldable hand on top of the vacuum cleaner. Unveiled during CES 2025 by Roborock, this robot vacuum cleaner can now pick up toys, small towels and other items that comes in it’s way.

This vacuum cleaner is named Saros Z70 and is due to be released in April 2025. It has a mechanical robotic arm called ‘Omnigrip’ which will be able to pick up the obstacles that comes in it’s way. Earlier these kind of obstacles used to pause the cleaning process.

This 5 axis robotic arm (Omnigrip) comes with precision sensors, LED light and a camera and is foldable. By default it stays deactivated but can be activated with the help of Roborock app. Once activated, it can autonomously unfold and pick small obstructing items (up to 300 grams) and place it somewhere else. It can also be guided through the app about which items to be picked up and which not. Additionally, it has a child lock as well as a stop button.
